After our art workshops, our workshop participants leave with their art creations and newly acquired art techniques. For us, we document the beautiful memories created during our past art workshops with photos. The happy faces and satisfied expression of our workshop participants after the workshops are part of the motivational factors to fuel our passion for art teaching.
It is always amazing to see the transformation in our workshop participants by the end of the workshop. Many workshop participants come into the workshop saying that they are interested in the art medium but are skeptical of what they can produce at the end of the workshop because they believe that they are not talented in art. During our past art workshops, we have seen how the stressed up faces slowly become more relaxed as participants start to familiarize with the art medium and have a better control while building up on their art skills. It always puts a satisfying smile on all of us.
Putting aside all distractions and focusing on learning a new art medium during the art workshop, our participants always feedback to us that time passed by too quickly. We will also laugh that it is great to know that because it also means that everyone stayed very focused during the workshop. Phones are not used for playing games or constant texting but rather to refer to images that help generate more ideas for the artworks.
We hope to be able to continue adding more happy faces to this page dedicated to documenting our past art workshops and of course not forgetting the beautiful artworks by our workshop participants 🙂
