Still Life (Captain, bucket, dried flowers) Caden was very interested in watercolour so we decide to let him have a go at it as a reward for doing well for the past few artworks. This is a great improvement from his first still life artwork. Venice Caden doesn't really like to paint because he finds it troublesome. So we grab hold of the opportunity for him to draw his own buildings with reference to our sample artwork and focus on clean lines without constantly erasing. Golden Freddy and Bonnie These two characters are from Five Nights at Freddy. To be honest, the actual characters look a lot scarier. The well-controlled outlines and textured background are very well done in this artwork. Fruits on table Choose your fruits and choose your background colour. And here we have a view of a table of fruits in a quiet setting. Tiger walking through the woods A work focusing on the use of watery paints. Toucans We don't always ask for perfection for artworks. Especially so for Caden. In replacement for perfection, what we see is a lively artwork. Colourful Merlion Let the merlion light up. Portrait of my younger brother A great session of learning to observe and draw from real life because Caden forgot to bring back his previous unfinished artworks. Captain America Choose your superhero and choose a photo of your chosen superhero. This is not an easy angle to draw but Caden followed through patiently and look at this beautiful result! Orca Simple as the lines and shapes may be. This is the first time we requested for Caden to observe and draw on his own. Great work done! Paper Flower Bouquet Crafting paper flowers for Mother's day. Caden couldn't wait to show off his flower bouquet upon completion. Fireplace A warm atmosphere for the Christmas period. Prehistoric days An amazing work of combining oil pastels and watery paints to create depth in this work. Stamp Carving Venturing around with the different stamp colours. Stamp Carving Drawing and carving are two different things. It was a new learning experience of getting a chance to do carving and stamping. Racer Sometimes Caden will still ask me which of his artworks are good. This is definitely one of those. Because he put in effort into doing it. Farmers The toughest work to date as this work took 3 lessons to complete. Caden was used to completing an artwork within 2 lessons and having a lot of assistance from teachers in completing his works. He got moody when I did not help him because I know that he was able to complete it independently but he wants to choose the easy way out by getting me to help. Big thumbs up for pushing through to the completion of this artwork! On Sunny Island This was painted at the Istana Art Event 2015. Although the colouring is messy, Caden was able to finish up his artwork for his first outdoor art session! Underwater World (work in progress) When you concentrate and put in effort in your work, it is reflected in your work. Underwater World Caden's painting tends to get messy towards the end as he lacks of patience. But now his paintings are beginning to have their own stories. A great white shark emerging from the dark seas and a colourful treasure turtle roaming in the deep sea. Lion Dance First artwork with us! Caden completed this within an hour and he was off to play. He was learning at another kids art studio previously and needed time to get used to learning in a home environment.
